What is this mod?

This Fabric project creates a real second player through Carpet. The bot receives LLM commands, uses local reflexes, and can work with Ollama or several cloud providers.

In short: The most technical agent in the catalog: capable, but substantially harder to install and train than a normal mod.

What you need

  • Fabric and Carpet
  • Java 21
  • Ollama for embeddings
  • Separate model and command configuration

Installation

  1. Install the correct Fabric version for Minecraft 1.20.1–1.20.6.
  2. Choose a file for your exact game version on the official project page.
  3. Move the .jar file into .minecraft/mods.
  4. Add every dependency listed by the author, then launch a separate test profile.
  5. Configure a local model or your own API key. Never share the key.

Important limitations

  • Configuration is harder than for most mods
  • The author recommends a dedicated modpack
  • Development is moving more slowly than before
