What is this mod?

This experimental Forge mod sends game state and chat messages to a local model. Roughly every 30 seconds, the AI chooses a helpful or harmful event and turns survival into an unpredictable challenge.

In short: A fun experiment for a separate world or stream, but not a utility or dependable AI companion.

What it can do

  • Dynamic positive and negative events
  • Reactions to game chat
  • Local generation through Ollama
  • New situations roughly every 30 seconds

What you need

  • Minecraft 1.20.1 and Forge
  • Ollama running locally
  • qwen2.5-coder:7b
  • Enough resources for local inference

Installation

  1. Install the correct Forge version for Minecraft 1.20.1.
  2. Choose a file for your exact game version on the official project page.
  3. Move the .jar file into .minecraft/mods.
  4. Add every dependency listed by the author, then launch a separate test profile.
  5. Configure a local model or your own API key. Never share the key.

Important limitations

  • Built with MCreator and still experimental
  • The AI may deliberately make the situation worse
  • Do not run it in a valuable world without a backup
