What is this mod?

This early agent adds a terminal for LLM chat, recipe lookup, and tool calls. Potentially dangerous actions require player approval, while optional MCP tools add more capabilities.

In short: An interesting foundation for advanced users and developers, but alpha 0.0.1 is not ready for a normal survival pack.

What you need

  • Minecraft 1.20.1
  • Forge or Fabric
  • LLM settings in llm.toml
  • A separate mcp.json configuration for extensions

Installation

  1. Install the correct Forge / Fabric version for Minecraft 1.20.1.
  2. Choose a file for your exact game version on the official project page.
  3. Move the .jar file into .minecraft/mods.
  4. Add every dependency listed by the author, then launch a separate test profile.
  5. Configure a local model or your own API key. Never share the key.

Important limitations

  • The current build is alpha 0.0.1
  • MCP tools require an understanding of their permissions
  • Configuration targets technical users
